Event Description

The tiny fishing village of Dunleary was firsttransformed when the builders of the gigantic WestPier of the Royal Harbour arrived in 1820. A little overa decade later, the railroad builders arrived, reshapedthe landscape and put their railway terminus inthe centre of the village. When they later movedthe railway station, they closed off much of the oldharbour. Since then, the former old harbour has had avariety of industrial uses before becoming a desirableresidential and office location. What remains of the original village?Where are the traces of the various transformations? Meet at The Purty Kitchen Wednesday 5pm Group booking essential via email
