The use of a simple kitchen chair can help us all access the benefits of yoga – improved flexibility, joint mobility, helping with back and hip stiffness. It can also give us an opportunity to calm anxiety and racing thoughts. Sally takes the class through simple but thorough warming up movements, adapted poses, a centering practice and breath-work and finishes each session with a guided relaxation.
Open to everyone, each session builds on the previous one, so it is advisable to be able to attend all four online classes. You’ll need a chair without arms, a tennis ball (or kids rubber ball) and a yoga belt (or old tie/dressing gown belt).
