Event Description

4th-6th Class- Via Zoom

Judi and Sarah are great friends in real life and very much enjoy doing events together. This autumn they have both published books set in Ireland in the early 20th century. They will bring the past alive and share their passion for history and writing with the audience.

Lily’s Dream by Judi Curtin is set in 1914. Will the war in Europe change Lily’s life as a housemaid at Lissadell? Can her friendship with rich girl Maeve survive?

Sarah’s new book, The Little Bee Charmer of Henrietta Street is set in 1911. It’s the story of brother and sister, Eliza and Jonty who move from leafy Rathmines to a tenement flat on Henrietta Street in Dublin’s city centre. Will they ever feel at home in their new flat? Will they find new friends?
