Event Description

Saturday 6 October 2018

Studio Theatre, 3:00pm

Developed and written by playwright Roseanne Lynch, Anchor tells the story of the RMS Leinster’s anchor, from when it was built in Birkenhead, Liverpool in 1895, through the disaster in 1918 up until 1996 when it was brought up from the depths to stand as a memorial in Dún Laoghaire. Premiere to be held on Family Day at 3pm.

dlr Librarian Seán Downes created a replica anchor to promote this and other RMS Leinster events. It is on display in dlr LexIcon.
