An introductory workshop for International Scratch Day with Sabine McKenna of Creative Computing Classes Skerries. Programme your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. Millions of people are creating Scratch projects in a wide variety of settings, including homes, schools and libraries. Each parent and child will learn step-by step how to create a short interactive game or animation. Due to licensing issues, participants must use laptops provided by dlr LexIcon. Booking essential by emailing dlrlexiconlib@dlrcoco.ie or phoning 280 1147.
